The orange tree that my friend and old roommate started from a seed he plucked out of an orange. I sort of adopted it when it was just a wee lad. It came indoors a few weeks ago and today I put it into this new pot. I went to a local nursery and said I was just looking for the cheapest ceramic pot they had, and the kind lady said go ahead and pick any one of them and I'll give you 40% off. I also scored a bag of perlite with a 50% discount merely because there was small slice in the bag. This is the nursery. They're known for their golf carts which they use to escort customers around the 10+ acre retail lot and the 30+ acres of growing area.Here's the orange tree's former pot:
