Some drawreens

Thought I'd post some sketches from my books. I don't draw as much as I used to. I should be drawing more. It used to be like drinking water. Now not so much. These pictures are from a small camera that refuses to do close-ups. But I figured I'd throw them up here anyways.

Treebeard. Probably my favourite character in The Lord of the Rings. The main thing is the eyes - that's what any illustration has to be concerned with with Treebeard, or the portaiture ones. I was both disappointed and impressed with Peter Jackson's.
