Acrostic poem (On Sister)

Sibling of spirit; whether familial blood pertain too,
It is second in line, and depends upon unseen
Spirit, for while both may be present between,
There is one alone, and one which will full
Elicit, with or without bond of blood,
Residing fondness, comporting our paired insignia.

It's quite funny. The sitemeter shows that at least seven different people from different countries around the world have ended up at this blog when searching for the words: "acrostic sister poem", or a variation thereon. They inevitably land at this post.

My speculation is that certain people the world over are searching for an acrostic poem for their sister, an acrostic poem on the word, 'sister'. They then go to my post, and to their disappointment, discover that the acrostic poem is on 'pumpkin scones'. The poem was dedicated to one of my sisters, pumpkin scone expert. The poem's title included the dedication.

The meter shows they spend zero time reading the poem. Because well, this blog with its pumpkin scone poem, is delaying their search for an acrostic poem on the word, 'sister'. Impatient little buggers.

So, I figured I would write an acrostic poem on the word, 'sister'. Yes, to you, searcher for an acrostic poem on the word, 'sister', look no further. You can use it if you want, to give to your sister. You do not have to credit it to me, but, and I emphasize but, if dare credit it to yourself, I will come to haunt you in your dreams you lying scum.

With that little caveat in mind, do feel free to use it, good and honest person. Here it is:

Sibling of spirit; whether familial blood pertain too,
It is second in line, and depends upon unseen
Spirit, for while both may be present between,
There is one alone, and one which will full
Elicit, with or without bond of blood,
Residing fondness, comporting our paired insignia.

If that is too metaphysical for your tastes, and you are looking for something more gooey, then be off with you!
