On the other side of it are large down-sweeping branches that almost touch the ground, so large and sturdy, and with a curving grace, that you can recline in them - like a Hobbit. Western Redcedar is the official tree of British Columbia. It's a tree that, either alone or in groves, I wish to expend a lot of paint on. A beauty of a tree.
