E, I've been entertaining the thought of having a separate drawing blog. If I do, I think I'll name it that. I like your description.
Christopher, LOL, I think there is quite a bit of mailbox baseball that goes on around here. One of the reasons some of the mailboxes are low to the ground. This one is part of an abandoned property with a feral house. There are some mailboxes on abandoned lots with old junk mail and newspapers still crammed into them. Love it.
It can be hard to catch - with your eyes, if it's half and wholly enveloped in vines.
E, I forgot to mention that I'm doing a painting which has an old mailbox in it, and I won't mention the rest of what's in it, but I've been trying to think of a title for it, and the title "The Wanderer" popped into my head a week or so ago, and I said I would sit on it and see. Because of your comment the title is going to stick.

I really love this one. The mailbox looks windswept . . . like a wanderer on the seas of grass.
And "Pencilmania" would be a great art blog name.
Your local constable must spend 90% of his time responding to mailbox vandalism reports.

What happens when a house goes feral? will it bite? is it hard to catch?

In which case, if it's blackberry vines, yes, it will bite!
