I'm startled to realise that you draw edible stuff all the time, Stilwell, but it took the simple addition of a circle around the food to make it look like something to eat.
You know, this is almost like a first, strangely enough! I had the same thought while drawing it, that this was actually looking like food that is served.
I love broccoli too. I only recently discovered that the best way to cut it, instead of cutting at the flower heads, is at the point where each arm joins the main stem and then drawing the knife all the way down the main stem. No disturbing of the flower heads that way. And you can include a good long portion of the main stem without it seeming like too much stem.
