Christopher, thanks. I think I remember a little of that at least from high school. Those art teachers like to do those things though, eh? Like when we had to draw our shoe, and had to do it in various techniques - one in "pointilism", one in cross hatch etc...Let's make the students do something the least enjoyable and the most tedious because that *must* equal real work and learning. Well, partly, I say - partly.

We had to draw spheres in my Art class. And to give them shadows. I liked the abstractness of it, even if I wasn't very good.
Ah, we had to do those too! And cones and cylinders...I remember that mine was not very good at all.
