I don't feel like I'm that good. In fact, I wondered if you were being serious.

I wanted to say, in my post about "the end is everything" I neglected that you once wrote about painting as one clothing with every stroke of the brush - I forget your exact words, but I wanted to say that I admired what you said that time about painting. It resonated with me. I think we both view painting in the same way. I'm going to edit my post.

And I admire your work. Truly.

I hope you have been painting. Are you painting right now?

Not painting at the moment - I have chores to do. I'm going to work on my last Matt Talbot - soon.

I was being totally serious. There is somethings so pure and simple about the crucifixion you just did - the scroll, the sponge. It is just right.
