This reminds me of something I found on Twitter:

Let me guess? You got them all? LOL!

I use mostly dried herbs when cooking, so I'm just going to guess that the leftmost one is parsley. =P

The top, from right to left: fir, walnut, maple.

The bottom, from right to left: Oak, alder(?)...and the next one, sheesh, that could be anything.

I've only recently ventured into using fresh herbs, and it's only been with soup, sparingly. I put in a little, then wait around 30 minutes and put in a tiny bit more, then a tiny bit more towards the end. But otherwise I also use mainly dried herbs.

Yep, it's parsely. And to get the the three others, in the same order, just think of Scarborough Fair.

Now I've got Simon and Garfunkle humming in my head... Enbrethiliel, maybe one of those should be my answer to your Madonna question...

I think that's an Aspen next to yes-it-really-could-be-anything. Maybe an anaemic linden ...

Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme ♪♫
You know it felt like reading when I looked at the picture! Maybe this is where the idea of Hieroglyph came from!!!

The photo is like that, isn't it. I like this way of hieroglyphics!
