I know this one! That's a spike!

(It rather sticks out, doesn't it?)

And a genuine Albertan railway spike at that! Found it while collecting hematite along what used to be a railway. Of course not a very rare find, as one will find fittings (and spikes) and such here and there among the rocks if one looks long enough.

It does rather stick out - though I made it sharper at the point than what it actually is!

Interesting drawing. The spikes is rather overwhelmed by the size of the can. Somewhat like the unassuming guy whose finally gotten up the nerve to approach the hot babe rest herself on the barroom table. While her two not so interesting companions look on.

Let's not take the interpretation any further. LOL!

Is it a hot Catholic babe?

Take it further? In point of fact, I took it a whole bunch of steps back from my first impression.

I had never really liked still life before. But I can now see it has possibilities.

As to it being a hot Catholic babe? Given this is a Catholic blog, it goes without saying. Although I typically do say. Subtlety is good, as long as it's obvious.

LTG wins by default. What I see would never live up to that.

"What is the best?" asked Turnbull in great distress.

"LTG is the best", said the old man opening his blue eyes blazing; "it wins by default."

Now I really need to know what Enbrethiliel sees.

She sees a face that was taken apart. The two still-surprised eyes, the spike-like nose, the mouth frozen in an expression of shock.

I like your interpretation better.
