Paul, I love these sketches you post.

I should be more specific about what it is that I appreciate about these sketches being on your blog: they are simply an expression of you; they do not have to be 'Catholic' except in the sense that they are a part of you. I'm good with that.

I just read your post about the Body Worlds exhibit, and you have articulated very well why I didn't go see it. Anything that makes me think, "You know, I bet Hitler would've really enjoyed that," seems like a good thing to avoid. My Catholic parents-in-law drove two hours to a museum to see it, but I was too repulsed to go . . . not by dead bodies, but by the posing and injection of plastic into them. Shudder.

I really like this one. =)

I'm especially glad the tool isn't floating like in that other one. ;-)

Thank you very much Owen. It's something, isn't it, how that self-transference happens? The way art can bring out something inside of one that one isn't even aware is there?

I do appreciate the feedback on that post Nancy - and that my thoughts are shared by others as yourself.

Oh Enbrethiliel, that drawing with the floating nail and the magic carpet floating fruit! That drawing kind of makes me unsettled - and I'm the one who drew it!

Well, at least the domino looked grounded, aye? =)

Man you are good. Wonderful drawing. Owen is right - an extension of his thought is that we see with you - I'm looking at the reflection of the towel - with you. I think it is cool to be able to do that.

Terry, thank you. Yes, I like that thought very much, and hadn't really thought of it before. I think it's very cool as well!

I look forward to your finished St. Sebastion.
