Seems Jesus was quite rigid in various ways and imposed absolutes which admitted of no exceptions. Of course, for Francis and crew rigid is code speak for undermining doctrine, especially morality, by claiming exceptions. It should strike us as odd that we even have a pope speaking like this. I don't recall any other pope in recent history doing so, calling fellow Catholics rigid for adhering to doctrine. The fact that someone has to demonize people as rigid in order to dismiss their criticisms to advance some agenda item should have the alarm bells ringing.
