Stilwell, I know you must have spent hours and hours on this one, pouring your blood, sweat and tears into it . . . and I do really, really like it . . . as does my younger brother . . . but I must add that he and I both think the monster closest to Beowulf looks like a Pokemon.

He doesn't want to fight. He wants to be a pet. And he's confused about why the nice-looking man is waving a sword at him.

(Of course, I'm assuming above average intelligence and an aptitude for affection on the part of the Nicoras. There have been monstrous animals in our own world who look sweet and even dumb, but who are really no joke.)

LOL!

The things that must unconsciously influence us...

And by what you write concerning your assumptions about the Nicoras, you probably do know of course that what is possibly the greatest monologue in the history of cinema was running through my mind every once in a while as I drew this.

I find something in me wants to make monsters look somewhat stupid. To me it can make them scarier - like the cookie monster, who is freaking scary.

Thank you for you and your brother's thoughts, and I'm happy to know you both like it.
