Yes, I'm not sure what the proper name for this kind of drawing would be, but I think maybe, "value drawing". Blocks of values are put in without making defining outlines or textures, or as few outlines as possible, and the different values, happily coinciding, make definitions of objects "accidentally".

This and the previous one look as if you did them by candlelight.
(Which is not to say that you didn't have adequate lighting, but that they seem very soft and gentle.)
