The onions made it into the 2010 Arts exhibition. Even if you enter three (the maximum limit) you can only have one in the exhibition - if the judges accept any of them that is.
I just hope the judges did not award first (or any other prizes) to some piece of homosexual propaganda (or should that be gay propaganda?) as they have done numerous times before.
Not that that would have any bearing on anyone else's work. It's just disconcerting to wonder how the judges saw your own work when you see the other pieces they select. For instance, did they merely see some kind of odd vehemence in my painting, a "different take", and not see anything else?
I would not want to hear what they thought; how the painting fits into the sterile mould that years of vacuous art theory have wrought within them. That is being rather presumptuous and judgmental of their characters though; maybe they really did see it for what it is.
Do I sound like an ingrate or what? I'm glad it got in.
