By far my favourite Etude by Rachmaninoff. And the way this pianist plays it I find so good. He's looking after the balance and those hanging ends and not capitalizing on the climax; rather the climax should tumble, clanging-like, out of the tension of what preceded it. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
