Medium: Pencils 2H, B and 2B

    It's like a party in someone's backyard! =D The apple and the pitcher are the husbands, who are enjoying the view, while the wives are the orange/grapefruit/whatever slices, facing each other to chat.

    Also, that apple looks more pleasantly earthy than the ones you usually do. (I think it's the spots.)

    Captcha is "belici"--which should be an Italian word to describe your sketch!

    I also like the gradual rise of whatever cloth you're using in the background. It's like a landscape.

  3. I like your interpretation; it fits, and I see it!

    That apple, not being a green one, offered a bit more in the way of speckled detail. Apples really want to be painted, more so than be drawn.

    The drawing of the chessmen in the "boat" - I manipulated the cloth to look like big waves. I think usually when I include the cloth I'm unconsciously thinking landscape - or wanting it to not just be cloth. Maybe a weave for the entire composition.
