Enbrethiliel, as I looked at them before drawing I debated a little whether I should show them or just kind of do an overall rendering. It's tedious business. But I think they make the drawing.
Owen, I find the hard pencils can really tie a picture together. When worked very lightly over or around softer lead, they do some interesting things - elusive things.
I've been getting into charcoal of late, which has a mind of its own.
Now I'm going to find out what a Faber-Castell 1.4 mm is. Reading your blogs before it has been apparent to me you know a lot of mediums - pens, pencils, papers and such. I need to learn more about what's out there.

Always interesting to see someone working in H & 2h. I seen never to move to anything harder than an HB and mostly use B & 2B.
